At Monroe Ninja Academy, children and adults learn how to analyze, improve, and approach ninja obstacles. Our unique ninja facility is custom designed to be fun and challenging, teaching the sport of Ninja to students of all ages and levels. We want to provide an innovative way for you to have fun and challenge yourself. Within our facility, students will receive guidance and training on how to tackle specific obstacles and enhance their overall strength and determination. Our kids ninja classes, kids summer camps and afterschool activities are geared towards learning the basics while adult and advanced one-on-one classes teach more techniques to prepare you for competition.
We are conveniently located in Monroe CT, close to the towns of Newtown, Trumbull, Easton, Redding, and Fairfield.

Joe Moravsky
Owner of Monroe Ninja Academy and Partner in New Era Ninjas Franchising
Joe Moravsky is the Owner and Head Coach of Monroe Ninja Academy. A lifelong athlete in traditional sports, Joe has spent his entire life training, competing, and learning the value of discipline, resilience, and hard work.
Joe began his coaching career more than ten years ago as a gymnastics coach, building a strong foundation in proper technique, body control, and safe skill progression. He has since coached ninja athletes for over seven years, helping athletes of all ages develop strength, confidence, and perseverance through structured, thoughtful training.
Joe, best known as “The Weatherman” on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, has competed on ANW from Season 5 (2013) through the present and has twice been named Last Ninja Standing. He has also competed on USA Network’s Team Ninja Warrior, winning Season 2. In addition to his U.S. competitions, Joe has represented the sport internationally, competing on global ninja teams and events in Japan, Germany, and Barbados. While Joe’s competitive accomplishments are elite, his focus as a coach is rooted in effort, growth, and the belief that falling and getting back up is where real progress is made. At Monroe Ninja Academy, Joe is committed to creating an environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and inspired to believe in what they can achieve both inside and outside the gym.
Joe is married to his wife, Stephanie Moravsky, and is a proud father of three children: Emily, Jacob, and Dylan.
Stephanie Moravsky
Marketing & Operations Manager and Coach
Stephanie Moravsky is a key member of the leadership team at Monroe Ninja Academy, bringing over ten years of experience as an educator along with a strong background in gymnastics coaching. Her combined experience in teaching and athletics allows her to create structured, engaging, and age-appropriate programs that help athletes build confidence, strength, and body awareness.
As Marketing & Operations Manager, Stephanie oversees social media and marketing efforts, supports daily gym operations, and coaches athletes of all ages. Whether she’s on the floor coaching, working behind the scenes, or sharing the gym’s energy online, she is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment for families, staff, and ninjas at every level.
